Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ desire to bless us.
Restored truth reveals that blessings are never earned.
Metaphor of wood pile.
Striking the match and lighting the kindling are small actions.

Faith in the Saviour is a principle of action and power.
The required action is always tiny compared to the blessings.
Story of fiery flying serpents.
We too must act on our faith in Jesus Christ to be blessed.
You don’t earn a blessing…but you do have to qualify for it.
To receive a desired blessing from God act with faith, striking the metaphorical match upon which the blessing is contingent.
A fire must receive a constant supply of oxygen.
Faith in Christ requires ongoing actions.
Oxygen flows only if we figuratively move our feet.
Blessings come on God’s timetable.
Some blessings are reserved for later even for the most valiant of God’s children.
We are each responsible to open and study Come Follow Me.
