27 Verily I say, men should be aanxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness;

Most humanitarian service…is carried out by organisations having no formal connection to the Church.
We need to be more aware and more appreciative of the service of others.

We share the common goal of relieving suffering among God’s children.
Moroni 7:16 For behold, the aSpirit of Christ is given to every bman, that he may cknow good from evil; wherefore, I show unto you the way to judge; for every thing which inviteth to do good, and to persuade to believe in Christ, is sent forth by the power and gift of Christ; wherefore ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of God.
Elder Oaks gave examples of people and organisations around the world who do great humanitarian work.
God inspires many organisations and individuals to do good.
Dieter F Uchtdorf A message to the rising generation

Your covenants with him made when you were baptised and renewed each time you partake of the sacrament give you a special connection with Him.
You are a daughter or a son of the Almighty God…..One day He wants you to inherit all He has…..To make this possible He sent Jesus Christ to be your Saviour.
At the heart of Gid’s plan for your happiness is your power to choose…He allows you to choose light or darkness…Somehow here on earth it seems more complicated than it ought to be.
There is a lot of confusion in the world about what is right and wrong.
Where do you find truth? It is found in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
When you have important choices to make Jesus Christ and his restored gospel is the best choice.
A new resource – a revised version of For the Strength of Youth.
It has been updated and refreshed to better cope with the challenges and temptations of our day……It is subtitled a guide to making choices.
It teaches you how to make righteous choices based on eternal truths.
It doesn’t make decisions for you….it foces on values, principles and doctrine instead of every specific behaviour.
Joseph Smith said Í teach them correct principles and they govern themselves.
It is bold in inviting you to make choices based on Christ’s doctrine.
Jesus Christ has very high standards for his followers.
The Lord is not saying Do what you want. He is saying Let God prevail.
You can find confidence, peace, sfatey happiness and belonging ….in Jesus Christ and in His Church.

The Saviour can be our compass and our pilot.
In our lives that are often filled with questions, worries, pressures, and opportunities, our Saviour’s love for us…along with His teachings and laws are available daily resources.
Jesus Christ is both the purpose of our focus and the intent of our destination.
Where we look for Him, we will find Him, each and every dayy.
When we bring our offering to the Saviour we are invited to see more of Him in our lives.
Our Saviour Jesus Christ directs our feet to his meetinghouses to partake of the sacrament.
Dale G Renlund Elements of personal revelation

With the help of the Holy Ghost we can transform our divine nature into an eternal destiny.
The Holy Ghost can inleash astonishing insight, direction and comfort.
The scriptures teach us how to receive personal revelation.
The promise of personal revelation through the Holy Ghost is awe-inspiring…feasting on the words of Christ, as found in the scriptures, stimulates personal revelation.
We receive personal revelation only within our purview.
Doctrine, commandments and revelation for the Church are the prerogative of the Prophet…Only the Prophet receives revelation for the Church.
Personal revelation will be in harmony with the commandments of God and the covenants we have made with Him.
Story of Martin Harris and the lost manuscript pages.
Unfortunate things happen when we ask for things that we should not.
We should recognise that personal revelation will be received line upon line, and precept by precept.
I invite you to have the confidence to claim personal revelation for yourself.

Parents are responsible for teaching the Gospel to their children.
It does not matter whether we are poor or rich, educated or uneducated, old or young, sick or healthy. He invites us to let the normal things in our lives be those which help keep us on teh covenant path.
Hugo Montoya
We are willing to help each other because we love each other…No matter what language my brother speaks or what country he comes from, we love each other because we are brothers, children of the same Father.
It is not enough to notice the needy on the road and pass them by.
Please trust in our Father. He always keeps his promises.
Happiness does not depend on our circumstances but on our attitude to the circumstances.
Each child is unique. Their worth to God is great.
Our Heavenly Father’s love for each of his children is real; He is there for each one. I don’t know how He does it but He does.

Experience in Mozambique.
When you hand them a Book of Mormon you are opening their hearts and minds to the word of God.
My dear friends, as an Apostle of the Lord, I invite you to follow our beloved Prophet, President Nelson, in flooding the earth with the Book of Mormon. The need is so great – we need to act now.
President Russell M Nelson
Delighted with reports of large youth conferences being held across the world.
We rejoice that more temples are being built across the world.
Abuse constitutes the influence of the adversary. It is a grievous sin.
There are many aids on the Church website. I invite you to study them.
The Saviour will not tolerate abuse and as his disciples neither can we.
Many today are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it.
God is the source of all truth. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints embraces all truth.
I pray that this Conference will provide the spiritual feast that you are seeking.
