We believe in Christ.
The scriptural record of words spoken by God or the Lord are almost always the words of Jehovah.
Most of the scriptures recording Christ’s mortal ministry are records of what he DID.
(Reading words of Jesus from the New Testament)
(Reading words of Jesus from the Book of Mormon)
We believe in Christ.
I affirm the truth of these teachings.
Elder M Russell Ballard

“I am the resurrection and the life”
This testimony has strengthened me and comforted me in the four and a half years since my wife Barbara passed away.
Story of courting Barbara.
What mattereth most is what lasts longest.
First a relationship with our Heavenly Father and His son.
Second family relationships.
These relationships are essential for emotional and physical health.
We choose to love and sustain one another.
Another thing that matters most is following the promptings of the Spirit.
Finally…I testify that being converted to the Lord, testifying of Him and serving Him are among the things that matter most.
Having a testimony alone is not enough. As our conversion grows we naturally want to testify on him.
I invite you to bear your testimony of Jesus Christ more often.
The Holy Ghost will confirm the truth to those who earnestly listen to your testimony.
I testify and witness to you that I know that Jesus Christ is the Saviour and Redeemer of the world.
Elder Ronald Rasband

Story of Lazarus
Each of us will experience the heart ache of losing someone we love.
Sometimes during our own challenges we might feel that Jesus is too late.
Sometimes it may seem that he doesn’t come until the figurative fourth day.
That which His disciples could do He had them do.
It was only the Christ that had the power and the authority to raise Lazarus from the dead.
We can strive to repent daily and joyfully move forwards.
We can make and keep sacred covenants. We can do this.
Elder Ahmad S Corbitt

Why did Jesus have to die?
The answer to this question did not come so easily.

Enoch.
Enoch felt inadequate.
Enoch ultimately became a mighty prophet…but he did not start his ministry that way.
The Lord Jesus Christ extends to each of us the invitation to abide in him.
Abiding means to stay – but to stay forever.
We abide in Christ as we are firm and steadfast in our devotion to our Saviour and His purposes.
We abide in Him by striving continually to strengthen our individual covenant bonds.
We abide in Him by preparing earnestly to partake of the sacrament.
We abide in Him by serving God.
The Saviour’s promise to his followers is two fold – if we abide in Him, He will abide with us.
