Conducting: President Eyring
President Nelson

How can we take the gospel in its simple purity…to all of God’s children?
It is time for a home-centred Church..As the Church continues to expand throughout the world many members live in areas where there are no chapels.
A new balance and connection between gospel instruction in the home and in Church…
Elder Quentin L Cook

Another example of guidance for the challenges of our day.
Spiritual impact and lasting conversion.
Our purpose is to balance the Church and the home spiritual experience.
Announcements can be accomplished…on the printed programme.
The second meeting need only have a closing prayer.
To commence from January.
Goal to have more wards meet earlier in the day.
We are confident that members will be blessed in extraordinary ways.
The goal of these adjustments is to obtain a deep and lasting conversion…
True conversion requires the influence of the Holy Ghost.
The announcements today will result in profound blessings…
Elder M Joseph Brough

Everyone faces hard things.
The peace that comes with forgiveness.
Blaming our circumstances on others…is not a solution.
With God nothing shall be impossible.
President Nelson requested some hard things of the youth…
We can always rejoice when we keep the commandments.
John 16:33 In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Elder Stephen R Bangerter

What are the small and simple things…that will perform a great work in the lives of our children?
The duties we have as parents to teach our children the importance of partaking of the Sacrament…
Make our homes sanctuaries of faith.
We never leave our home or end a telephone conversation without saying ‘I love you.’
Consistent, wholesome family traditions…create a culture of love, respect and unity.
Helaman 5:12 And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Elder Ronald A Rasband

These revelatory announcements are the mind and the will of the Lord.
Our single adults fear making commitments.
Widows fear going forward alone.
University students fear getting back a test.
We fear not being chose, and on the flip side we fear being chosen.
We fear change and our fears can escalate to terror.
2 Kings 6:16
The Lord is with us.
The Lord knew that at times we would feel fear…..The scriptures are replete with the Lord’s counsel.
They that be with us are more than they that be with them
How is fear dispelled?
When we hearken to President Russell M Nelson we are standing with a prophet of God.
- Stand in holy places….There is no room for fear in these holy places of God….His love abounds in holy places….When we stand in holy places we can feel God’s love and perfect love casteth out fear.
- Be not troubled. 2 Timothy 3:1-3…..Love what the Lord loves…and you will not be troubled.
- Trust the Lord and all his promises…We should not be troubled by the turmoil of today…We must learn to receive revelation.
Take heart brothers and sisters…as we stay on the covenant path we need not fear.
I bless you to stand in holy places and be not moved.
Elder David A Bednar

The principle of gathering in one all things in Christ.
The Sunday meeting schedule was not simply shortened.
Please do not focus merely on the logistical aspects of what has been announced.
Pharasaical focus on checklists can divert us from drawing closer to the Lord.
The gospel of Jesus Christ is a magnificent tapestry of truth.
The 4th article of faith – an example of gathering in one all things in Christ. True faith is focused in and on Jesus Christ…..The first and natural consequence of trusting in the Lord is repentance….The ordinance of baptism..requires us to trust in Him…..The ordinance of laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost requires us to trust in Him…This inspired statement of belief gathers together in one all things in Christ.
All Church programmes and initiatives gather in one all things in Christ…In 1980 Sunday meetings were consolidated into a 3 hour block…God has revealed a pattern of spiritual progress for individuals and families.
President Dallin H Oaks

Expertise in one field should not be taken as expertise in truth on other subjects.
If the source is anonymous or unknown, the information may also be suspect.
The methods of science lead us to scientific truth but scientific truth is not the whole of life.
There is a god who is the loving father of all spirits that have ever lived or will live.
To be meaningful mortal choices had to be made between contrasting choices of good and evil.
God’s great plan of happiness provides a perfect balance between justice and the mercy we can obtain through the atonement of Jesus Christ.
Eternal relationships are…fundamental to our theology.
Marriage between man and woman is essential to His eternal plan.
- We honour individual agency.
2. We are a missionary people…We esteem all mortals as children of God.
3. Mortal life is sacred to us.
4. We know that the relationships, identities and functions of men and women are essential to the accomplishment of God;s plan.
5. The ultimate treasures.. are our children and our posterity.
6. We believe that all our children of God.
The work of the Lord is going forward…
Remember the principle of repentance.
Hold fast to what you already know.
Exercise faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Such exciting changes! I can’t wait to see the resources.
